The Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD) is a volunteer, non-profit fire, rescue and EMS department with a primary response area that includes the City of Hyattsville, Town of University Park and surrounding Maryland communities.
Each year HVFD sends out a community newsletter along with their annual donation drive materials to all the homes they serve. The newsletter features information about the department, upcoming events, and encouragement to support the donation drive campaign. Also included in the packet, is a pledge card and return donation envelope. This campaign featured an initial 4 page newsletter as well as an updated reminder flyer that was later mailed a few months after.
Following the campaigns of previous years, the same familiar donation drive pack items were included but design was refreshed across all materials. The updated look of the newsletter was developed to be consistent with their bold department image but remain friendly and inviting.
